From taking a Fine Arts course in Florence Italy, to running my own award winning film production company, my life has so far been a whirlwind of triumphs, challenges and truly inspiring moments. In fact looking back, it has all the components of an epic film production. Hence why my message is “Life is an epic production… the thoughts and learnings of a TV producer” I now spend my time sharing this message with global audiences via TV, interviews, magazine articles and speeches.

On returning from Florence, I entered the glamorous world of advertising and within 18 months found myself working for the Head of Television at FCB, an ad agency that enjoyed the reputation of having the best TV creative department in London at the time. After 2 years of learning all the skills required to be a great P/A I was asked to help launch a new film production company. I never looked back. I doubled my salary, travelled the world and after 3 years’ became a fully fledged Producer at the age of 25.

Learning to be a Producer taught me fantastic life lessons and skills – from creating rapport with people to creative skills to putting all the ingredients together and making it happen – that’s what I got a buzz from and running multi-million pound budgets in the process! I stayed a further 6 years honing my Producer craft and shot many more commercials around the world by which time I was ready to start my own company.

My dream and passion was to turn the business into a full scale film production company. After winning numerous awards as an independent producer and working with some of the best creative talent in the business, from Graham Wood (Tomato), Frank Budgen, David Bailey, John Lloyd, Mel Smith, Phillip Noyce and Tony Kaye to ad agencies BBH, JWT, M&C Saatchi and HHCL (then a start-up) etc., Jane Fuller Associates (JFA) was born and opened bigger offices in Golden Square, W1.

JFA went from strength to strength over the next 10 years’, producing award winning commercials for clients including Tango, Maxell, Golden Wonder, Nike, Martini, BBC, Virgin, Nintendo, Sony, Pepsi and Smirnoff. Music video clients included All Saints, Smashing Pumpkins, Finlay Quaye, Morcheeba, Jamiroquai and Moby amongst many others. We represented some of the hottest directors in the world over the years’ including, Jonas Akerlund, Johan Renck, Shane Meadows, Matthias Zentner, Trevor Robinson and Swedish collective Stylewar.

We won 6 BTAA (British Television Advertising Awards) awards, 10 Creative Circle Awards, 3 D&AD awards, the Grand Prix award at Cannes and 2 Gold Lions, the ITV Award for best commercial of the year, 2 BAFTA advertising awards, 2 Eurobest awards and 2 CAD awards one for Jamiroquai’s music video ‘Canned Heat’ plus numerous other citations for creative excellence. We were also commissioned by St. Lukes ad agency to make a short film called ‘Sideshow’ directed by Thomas Q Napper. The BBC made a programme of my company filming a Tango production which they called ‘A Passion for Distinction’ based on the qualities required to be a successful company also featuring Novotel and Tonbridge School.

During this time I set up a content creation company called The Entertainment Factor Company Ltd. with Robin Azis (CEO of ad agency of the decade HHCL & Partners) to extend our work into television, new media, feature films and beyond. I have also been a member of D&AD (10 years) and WACL (Women in Advertising and Communications Leadership) – 130 of the most senior women in the advertising and communications, marketing and media industries – by invitation only - for 8 years and a Patron of the Almeida Theatre which I loved. I am also a Licensed Heal Your Life Teacher and I'm delighted to bring this transformational philosophy to my work. I have presented a series of talks on this very philosophy in London and at Champneys Spa Tring and I am now working on a series of workshops which I will present globally.

I have been a member of BAFTA for 20 years and participate each year from September to January in voting for each year’s new crop of feature film entries for the BAFTA Awards. It is a great honour and done with much pleasure and hard work. I have been an Ambassador for the St. James theatre since it first opened in September 2012 - the first new theatre in London for 30 years with many eminent names involved that Andrew Lloyd-Webber has bought and continues to flourish with great success and is now called The Other Palace theatre. I am also an Ambassador for Tracy Worcester’s Pig Pledge campaign and have helped raise funds for her Farms Not Factories charity.

Outside of my professional career, I am also a keen property developer and interior designer and over the years have bought and sold many properties in London. My current house was a feature in House and Garden magazine. I’ve appeared in numerous other publications including Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Creative Review, Design Week, Campaign, Shots, Marketing Week, PR Week and my blog has been regularly featured in the Huffington Post. I also write a monthly blog for USA based Teen Mentor on-line magazine with an exemplary line-up of contributing mentor writers and I write for Arianna Huffington's Thrive Global magazine too.

I am married to Karl August Ziegler, a born and bred New Yorker with a classic blue chip education having won scholarships to Andover Phillips Academy, Yale University and Harvard Business School - so there are many happy reunions here and in the States. He spent 10 years living in Kenya having opened the First National Bank of Chicago in Nairobi and during this time he excelled at wild life photography and has given many important exhibitions in Kenya and London in unison with the World Wildlife Fund. He settled back in London where we met and loves living here and is a fanatical sportsman who has been a member of The Queens Tennis Club for over 40 years.

I also like to keep fit, stretch and run. I enjoy doing my charity work and have raised funds for Wellbeing of WomenThe House of St. BarnabasDress for Success, Canine Partners, NSPCC and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. I am also a calligraphist and fine arts supporter and a mean boule player with 6 championship cups loitering somewhere in the South of France!
