‘Real happiness is when you are happy for no reason at all, like a child - you are simply being.’ - Deepak Chopra
Be the reason for your own happiness.
Happiness really does not depend on others.
We already have within us the ability to live in a state of happy for no reason and not depend on external circumstances for lasting happiness.
It has to come from inside you and is the most authentic form of happiness.
‘You know when you’re winning because you’re happy for no reason.’ - Louise Hay
I believe true longer lasting happiness emanates from meaningful connection with other people, from harmony with nature and works of art and the deepest parts of ourselves. Everything that I have learnt and been sharing in my previous blogs.
Positive emotional energy is the key to health, happiness and well-being. The more positive you are, the better your life will be in every area.’ - Brian Tracy
When we choose to create peace and harmony and balance in our minds, we will find the happiness and well-being we seek in our lives. The more we are able to nourish that inner connection the less we need of the material life to keep the sense of emptiness at bay.
‘Carpe diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary.’ – John Keating,
I believe by educating our children, teenagers and adults to take good care of themselves with powerful preventative measures such as healthy eating, adequate exercise, sound sleep and good friendships, we would decimate the visible costs to our healthcare systems across the world.
How we lead our daily lives requires vital personal choices, however could schools, universities and workplaces help us prioritise well-being by making this the foundation of their whole ethos? Some are already doing this – but not enough…
‘No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.’ - John Keating
Sir Anthony Seldon was a pioneer for prioritising the principles of well-being in the whole school ethos and curriculum when he was Headmaster at Wellington College. He introduced educating the whole child, not moulding children to fit a place in the workforce but ‘opening hearts and opening minds’ (echoes of that wonderful movie ‘Dead Poets Society,’ 1989). He introduced classes of teaching the ‘skills of well-being’ by studying lives that have gone particularly well, so the pupils gained an understanding of what might help a life flourish. They learnt about the importance of relationships with others, as well as the benefits of good nutrition and exercise. They learnt techniques such as imaginative rehearsal (I call visualisation), positively channeling emotional energy and overcoming fears and unhelpful inhibitions. After that summer the school received the highest public examination grades in it’s distinguished history! Food for thought, eh?
We must bring these lessons into our state school system and see our children thrive…….
‘If only we’d stop trying to be happy, we could have a pretty good time.’ - Edith Wharton
Every thought you send out creates events in the universe, attracts people to you. One high, healing thought can cancel out 10,000 or more negative ones.
It is not just yourself you are helping when you evolve your thoughts, but everyone around you.
Healing positive thoughts go out into your neighbourhood and your community and help everyone who is reaching upward.
Every time you allow yourself to have more, allow yourself to feel good, or love something, you are contributing to the planetary path of abundance - yay!
You can’t be great if you don’t feel great so make exceptional health and wellbeing your No.1 priority - physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually.
If another pandemic is planned now is the time to protect yourself by strengthening your immune system if you haven’t done so already.
The core four things at the heart of caring for your body are sleeping well, eating well and exercising regularly and making that spiritual connection daily to raise your conscious joy, inner peace and vibration.
It’s an act of love to take care of your body. As you learn more about nutrition, you’ll start to notice how you feel after you eat certain foods. You’ll figure out which foods give you optimum strength and lots of energy. Then, you’ll stick to eating those foods.
‘Remember when your body is hungry it wants nutrients not calories.’ - Matt Roberts
Your body is always talking to you, if you take the time to listen.
Every cell within your body responds to every single thought you think and every word you speak.
Same with exercise - the joy of feeling good in your body by walking/exercising in nature - that connection to the universe - the uplifting energy you feel is naturally addictive and makes you feel happy for no reason.
Exercise raises your vibration and therefore your wellbeing.
‘Nurture the positive - gratitude, forgiveness, solutions and no complaining. Be nice to other people. Live a healthy life. Do things that make you happy.’ - Marianne Williamson
You will not want to eat poorly after exercise too. Always plan your food shop after your daily exercise - you will find you only buy the most nutritious foods and no bad stuff - you will not want to break that fantastic streamlined feel good factor! This works.
Take time for thought and create space daily to unwind and find peace through meditation, mindfulness and/or yoga.
Make that spiritual connection by exercising in nature. Take your shoes off and walk on the grass and/or touch the bark of a tree, give thanks and by doing so you create an energy connection to Source that will continue to nurture you and those around you.
Your self-assurance and trust in something greater can help you maintain an attitude of optimism that attracts blessings into your life.
Small daily - seemingly insignificant - 1% improvements and innovations lead to staggering achievements over time and increases your spiritual energy and power too - yay!
‘To transform from the old self to a new self requires us to become conscious of all our unconscious thoughts, automatic behaviours, routines, and emotional reactions that we’ve been conditioned into. To become conscious of any of these unconscious programs is the first initiation to change.’ - Dr. Joe Dispenza
And remember rest and play are as vital to our health and wellbeing as nutrition and exercise.
So appreciate art, beauty, joy and love and giveaway what you most wish to receive everywhere you go.
‘The best way to cheer yourself up is to try to cheer somebody else up.’ - Mark Twain
And always remember your prosperity consciousness is not dependent on money - the flow of money to you is dependent on your prosperity consciousness - there is more than enough in this world for you - yes there still is.
We are so much more powerful than we are educated to believe.
It all starts within you.
When you make small changes today, the positive feelings that result will help you feel good about your body and your life.
Maximise wellness from the inside out - now more than ever we need spiritual nutrition.
Make it happen.
Then let’s just make each other happy without a reason.
Have a wonderful and happy month ahead.

‘The greatest revolution of our generation is the discovery that human beings, by changing the inner attitude of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives.’ - William James
