‘To keep the body in good health is a duty……..otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.’ - Buddha
Your body is always communicating with you.
Your body is an amazing, finely tuned instrument.
It performs so many tasks each day without us needing to consciously think about it.
So this is a gentle reminder…
If you go quiet, as in a form of meditation, you can literally tune-in to what your body is telling you.
‘The Divine always offers inspiration in the quiet of you.’ - Dalai Lama
There are messages and nudges to listen to all the time.
Your body wants to live in harmony with you.
So inhale love and exhale gratitude.
Gratitude is a vitamin for the soul.
Your body responds to the words you think and say to it.
So start each day with a grateful heart because a grateful heart is a magnet for miracles.
Like a beautiful sunflower, the cells in your body will smile with happiness when you choose to send love to them.
Touch and stroke your body in loving ways, to remind it that you love it and will take care of it.
‘Kiss it better’ is a very real truth from our childhood, because a kiss is very healing.
Same with hugs and being touched. They spread happiness and love too.
The placebo effect in medicine has shown that what we believe can literally have an impact on our bodies.
So whatever you don’t resolve in life, your body will do it for you. You wear your feelings on your body.
Forgive yourself and others for yesterday’s mistakes.
Forgiveness is very healing and brings peace and love to your body and soul.
‘The mind and body are not separate. What affects one affects the other.’ - Dr. Joe Dispenza
When you are clearing your physical body of toxins then emotional ones must be flushed out as well.
Resolving emotional trauma can be a physical and emotional release and the key to experiencing limitless energy.
Your subconscious mind is naturally trained to reject the unfamiliar and stick to the familiar – we are born with this default mechanism to keep us safe – so a personal daily practice of meditation, gratitude, forgiveness, visualisation, and affirmations will help break the resistance.
You attract through your subconscious thoughts, so make sure they’re good thoughts - because whatever you imagine will happen - so think good thoughts.
You have to address the subconscious for lasting change.
Remember, whatever you have in your life right now is a perfect match for your current values and beliefs.
Your mind has an amazingly powerful influence on your body’s functioning, health and healing.
‘Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.’ - Carl Jung
How we move – how we walk - our subtle body language is controlled by our subconscious mind.
People will read your body language at a subconscious level.
So make sure you’re giving out the right message and remember dance is the hidden language of the soul of the body.
‘The soul always knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind.’ - Caroline Myss
The body achieves what the mind believes. Think of your brain as a computer that you can programme in what you want to achieve.
Like losing weight – a person cannot think ‘thin’ thoughts and be overweight. It defies the Law of Attraction. Start with your goal in mind. Think of the weight or size you want to be and focus on that.
Stay focused on the end result and don’t think too much about how it’s going to happen. Just focus on that goal – see it, feel it. The perfect weight is the one that feels good to you.
Food is your fuel – so remember that a diet rich in nutrients that satiates your body such as fruit, vegetables and whole grains, some fish and other proteins, provide the nutritional foundations for our physical and psychological well-being. Food really does affect our behaviour…good or bad… and remember, water is essential to keep your body and brain hydrated and energised and clear headed.
It is estimated that about three-quarters of our brain is water. So even slight dehydration can cause fatigue, headaches, lack of mental clarity, stress and sleep issues. With @80% of our brain being made with water, it is only obvious that we need to keep ourselves hydrated. Water gives our brain energy to function including thought and memory processes.
Get great sleep and plenty of exercise and you’re good to go!

Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity.’ - John F. Kennedy
